Two ruin houses for sale on Brac island are located in an old abandoned village that has about 15-20 stone houses and ruins located 150 m from the bay coast. Village is under protection and it is not possible to build new houses except renovating the old ones.
There is a road which goes directly to the land and the land is 3 km from town of Sumartin. There is still no electricity connection and water, but there is a large water tank on the plot which can be used for drinking and watering the land.
Ruins are located on a plot of 2,500 sq m. Size of the ruin is 2 x 80 sq m. Other ruin is 2x 60 sq m. It is only 150 m from the sea. Below the houses is a unique private beach.
IMPORTANT: According to the new master plan it is possible to renovate a house up to 3 floors, but no additional extensions to the houses are allowed!
The Brac island is Croatia’s third largest island and the largest island in Dalmatia, located in the center of this Dalmatian region. Not only is it the largest island in central Dalmatia, it is also the highest island of all islands in the Adriatic with the highest peak at Vidova Gora where it reaches 778 meters. It is not problematic to reach the top, either by car or by hiking if you are looking for a bit more active vacation, and when you get there you are free to enjoy the view over to the Zlatni Rat Beach on Brac, Hvar island and others.
