The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, etc. There is a fireplace in the living area, and LCD TV, DVD player, sofa, chairs, dining table, etc. It has access to the spacious terrace overlooking the sea. Rest of the house has 4 bedrooms, two of the rooms have double beds, the third room has a single bed, and the fourth room has three beds that have the ability to connect. There are 2 bathrooms. One is equipped with bath, shower, washing machine, sink, bidet, toilet, hairdryer, towels, changing table for small babies, and the smaller bathroom has a shower, bidet, toilet, sink, and towels. The bedrooms and bathrooms are connected with living and dining area with a hall. The second unit of the villa has a bedroom with two beds, one double and one single. There is also a bathroom with a toilet, sink, washing machine and towels. There is a mini-kitchen equipped with stove and refrigerator and a dining table. The door from the kitchen leads to a large closed terrace that is south-oriented and full of light, overlooking the sea. There is a barbecue area within the inner terrace. The villa has a beautiful, outdoor swimming pool located on the outdoor terrace. Within the pool is an outdoor Whirlpool for 8 people. The pool is surrounded with deck chairs, umbrellas, outdoor solar shower, and outdoor seating where you can relax during the day and night. The garden is full of Mediterranean plants that make a true green oasis. The whole place is air-conditioned, offers free Wi-Fi, and secure parking for 4 cars.

There is a family farm standing on the neighboring lot, where there are goats, and where is produced cheese, honey, oil, wine and other organic products available for purchase. If you or your children are animal lovers you are free to come and greet them.

The seafront position of the house, along with the large terrace, will provide you with a wonderful view that overlooks the Vis bay and the gorgeous sunset view over the Adriatic sea. The sea is seconds away and reachable from the yard, where only a few steps are keeping you from the beach. The restaurants, cafe bars, grocery, bakeries, tourist agencies and other are pretty close as well, just a few minutes walk away – about 200m.

Each mini kitchen, equipped with a sink, a fridge, an electrical mini oven and the necessary pans and crockery, offers you the opportunity to prepare your own food as you do at home. If you wish, a microwave oven, food processor and other kitchen aids are also available.

Depending on which apartment you choose, or which is available, the bathroom has a shower cubicle, and/or a bathtub (140 cm). The apartment A1 has a Jacuzzi bathtub with hydro-massage. All bathrooms have a medicine cabinet and a hair drier.

Villa is located on the south side of the Dalmatian coast, on the island of Vis in a bay area called Milna, 9 kilometers apart from the town of Vis. Vis is about 35 miles away from Split and closed to the island Hvar. Vis is a very green island with long-lasting history, which reaches back to the Romans. It covers about 5 sq km, is easily accessible by a ferry and is somehow a jewel under the islands, because it has maintained its authenticity close to the hype of modern tourism. Up to the early 1990 tourism was not allowed on this island. More than 3000 people are living here in 2 small cities and several small villages. During the high season, additional 4000 people are enjoying the mild climate of this island within the Adriatic Sea, halfway between Croatia and Italy.

Several authentic villages with typical Croatian cuisine served in local konobas“ (traditional restaurants) are within a short distance to the Villa.

Four romantic sandy beaches are very close by and within walking distance (between 10 and 20 minutes Milna and Zaglav Bay). With a boat, you can reach these beautiful beaches within 2 minutes. Stoncica Bay, also nearby, has a scenic sand beach and a relaxing restaurant. Next to this villa, you will find Rukavac, a fishing village with a fine fish restaurant, and Srebrna Bay, with a white pebble beach. Villa was completely renovated in 2017 and it was used for the filming crew while filming the movie Mamma mia 2. Apartment 1 (8 people) This four-bedroom apartment is situated on 2 floors. Holiday Villa with a Pool for Rent, Island of Vis: This wonderful villa lies 5o meters below the top of a high ground which offers a wonderful view over the south Adriatic islands Sušac, Lastovo, Korčula, and Hvar. Moreover, on a bright sunny day, you can even see the island of Palagruža, as well as the Italian mainland. On the other side, the hamlet has a view of a valley with vineyards, as well as the surrounding villages: Podšpilje, Žena glava, Duboka, and Borovik. Nearby, only several hundred meters to the south-west is one of the oldest archaeological sites Glavica, also known as the “Teuta’s lighthouse”, situated at 245 meters above sea level. Presumably, it dates from the 4th century B.C. and was the largest lighthouse in this part of the Adriatic.
The renovation of the hamlet began in 2000., with the aim of restoring its original appearance. “The peaceful atmosphere of island of Vis, the smell of immortelle, rosemary, sage and heather, the warmth of a baker’s oven, crickets, the wind blowing through pines at midday, the voices of field laborers in the valley, all of this is indelibly etched on my childhood memory, when, as a little girl, I used to spend much of my summer breaks at my grand-grandmother Franina’s”.
